A new ruling out of a Colorado appeals court is forcing a custom cake baker in suburban Denver to bake cakes for homosexual marriages.
Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, said he has no problem serving gays in his family business. But, he can’t design a wedding cake for same-sex couples as it is a violation of his Christian beliefs.

Just shut up and make the D@mned cake already!
yes that is what I am saying Mary, your cake cost you 3500.00 free enterprise , welcome to America , I feel that the government has no right to say who I have to serve it is my business and as a American I have the right to refuse serve to anyone. Your pants down at your knees get out, no she get out no shirt get out, no smoking in my business get out. and if you do not want to bake a cake for a gay wedding you should not be forced to by the government. I am not anti gay, I have family members who are gay and lesbian and I love them dearly . all I am saying is that if I owned a business I have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. I mean if I were in a large city I would open a gay/lesbian only bakery, I am sure that I would do very well so long as I had a very great product line. I hope that you see my point.
If a kosher deli doesn’t have to offer non-kosher food, ( by definition) can’t they just offer “Straight Wedding Cakes”?
It’s is now okay to discriminate against Christians. If anyone else does it it’s okay just not for a christian then it’s discrimination. They would then get a p**p cake as that is a flavor they are familiar with. As much as they lie about it it’s not about love it’s about deviant sex.
They would not want to eat it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Triple the cost of any cake that you are FORCED to bake! The gov’t said you have to bake a cake for the LGBT’s…what they DIDN’T say is how much you could charge for it! So, if you have to do it, make it worth your while-at least financially! And if someone asks why you’re charging more, just say “more overhead involved-gov’t regulations”. That’s something everyone understands, and won’t quibble about.
What about the bakers rights???? !!!! And think folks…if he don’t wanna bake it, he may add a “special ingredient”. Lol. Better to bake your own.
