The owner is facing quite a few citations, but the restaurant remains open, according an article that was written on December 30.
There must be an imminent health hazard for the state Department of Agriculture to close a restaurant, according to Lydia Johnson, director of the Department of Agriculture.
The restaurant also had 14 violations from an inspection on July 15, 2015, according to the paper.
What this means is that in order for the state Department of Agriculture to close down a restaurant, the food has to be illegal and trying to eat you. The only thing that would make Mr. Chun fit the stereotype any better is if the unidentifiable animal parts turned out to be house pets missing from the surrounding neighborhoods. Stereotypes aside, the fourteen violations from July should be warning enough not to eat there.
