Retailers are understandably having second thoughts about remaining in certain cities, namely run by Democrats, after recent riots saw multiple large stores looted.
Mayor Lightfoot said she’s hopeful major retailers will reopen the Chicago stores that were looted or otherwise damaged during protests surrounding George Floyd’s killing by police in Minnesota. But, she’s unsure of one of the biggest.
Mayor Lightfoot said she was on a conference call with Walmart and other major retailers that had stores looted or heavily damaged during the unrest in Chicago. She said she pleaded with them to not abandon Chicago.

With her response and her attitude I hope they do pull out of her city. That would be entirely what is deserved unless of course she can figure out a way for all of her looters or rioters that she stood behind to repair all the damage they’ve caused in making amends for all the destruction. There is a major difference between peaceful protesting and terroristic destruction. Until these so-called city and state government officials do something about it, why would anyone want to keep bringing business there with a chance of it happening over and over again and wasting their millions of dollars on a place that has proven it doesn’t care?
The lag time in the death of the City of Chicago (run by extremist pedocrats for 87 years!) is the only thing that is shocking to me.
Why? You didn’t want to protect them. You didn’t care when the rioters were doing what you wanted.
