While she may not be many people’s most trusted leader on foreign policy, Cher has at least proved herself one of the few Hollywood-types who has a decent head on her shoulders when it comes to Syrian refugees… if you can decipher her Twitter, that is.
Luckily, Breitbart has taken on the difficult task of translating Cher’s emoji-heavy, grammar-light condemnation of the United States’ visa program and published it all for all to see.
In essence, Cher attacked our government’s willingness to allow people from ISIS strongholds into the United States without a thorough vetting process.
It’s a common sense idea that’s been repeated many times by many smart American patriots, which is likely why the Hollywood star was eventually forced to take down the tweet in response to hostile response by Syrian sympathizers.
Regardless, she had the right idea, and you can still see the original tweet on the next page:
Because they’re gypsies, tramps and thieves!
Bruce Pfaff is a fan. It’s okay.
Police identified the dead perpetrators as Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik. Farook was a 28-year-old U.S. citizen, born in Illinois[10] to Pakistani immigrants.[42] He grew up in Riverside, California, and attended La Sierra High School, graduating in 2004, one year early.[47][48] He then attended California State University, San Bernardino, receiving a bachelor’s degree in environmental health in either 2009[49] or 2010.[47][48] He was a student for one semester in 2014 at California State University, Fullerton, in their graduate program for environmental engineering, but never completed the program.[47
Malik was a 27-year-old woman originally from Pakistan who had lived in Saudi Arabia.[54][55] A coworker of Farook said he went to Saudi Arabia in the spring of 2014 for about a month and married her there after meeting her through the Internet.[17][37] Farook described his wife as a pharmacist; she joined him in California shortly after their wedding. They had a daughter of six months at the time of their deaths.[52][56][57] The couple traveled to the U.S. in July 2014;[58] Malik entered on a K-1 visa (fiancée visa) on a Pakistani passport.[19][42][59] According to a State Department spokesman, all applicants for such visas are fully screened.[60] Farook applied for permanent residency (a “green card”) for Malik in September 2014, and she was granted a conditional green card in July 2015.[58] Obtaining such a green card would have required the couple to prove that the marriage was legitimate, as well as required Malik to provide her fingerprints and pass criminal and national security background checks using government databases.[42][58] Malik was one of a small number of female mass shooters in the United States; according to FBI statistics, women constituted only 3.75 percent of shooters of active-shooter incidents between the years 2000 and 2013.[61][62][63]
So much for ” vetting”
Good for you Cher.
So much for “thoroughly vetted”.
Well Cher, you house them, feed them and cloth them.
