Since you are all experts in infections diseases, could you please let me know which strain of Ebola is coming from “across the border”? Are the Mexican and Central American refugee children carrying Ebola Sudan or Ebola Zaire? Do you all agree that the American strain, Ebola Reston is likely not to blame, since it has not been shown to affect humans, only monkeys imported from the Philippenes for scientific testing. I’m interested to know how even the most xenophobic and biased people can make this leap to blame refugees from the south for bringing in a disease that flourishes in the African rain forests.
