CBS Host Asks “Mad Dog” Mattis: “What Keeps You Up at Night?”

CBS host John Dickerson can’t crack through Secretary of Defense Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis tough-as-nails reputation.

During a recent interview, Dickerson tried bringing out the softer, more emotional and reflective side of Mathis. That only is funny. But, Mathis’s alert to-the-point wit is what stole the show and cemented his reputation as a legend.

Dickerson asked Mattis “What keeps you awake at night?”

Mattis instantly replies “Nothing. I keep other people awake at night.”

That is our Secretary of Defense Gen. and even if he’s not sleeping, the rest of America can rest easy knowing our security is in the hands of a fearless legendary leader.
