Is it possible to starve to death because of a 3 inch bait fish? Well, maybe not, but environmentalists are making sure that thousands of families do not have jobs, and that the rest of the nation pays higher food prices in order to “protect” a small, non-endangered fish that they think is important enough to put countless farmers and farm families out of business.
The Delta smelt is a minnow that resides in the Delta marsh region near Sacramento, California. Much of California is a desert, and water management is critical. Central California is a major farming district that supplies a huge portion of fresh fruits and vegetables to the rest of the country, but Central and Southern California depend on water that is directed from the much wetter and water abundant areas of Northern California. Crazy environmentalists who hold the environment as their religion, have decreed that they will stop most or all of the water flowing south, all in the name of protecting the Delta smelt. And the out-of-control judges agree and have placed the well-being of the insignificant fish above the needs of humans and farming families. It is outrageous and unbelievable, but that is the fact.
Southern California starved for water, with most water sent out to sea, page 2:
Politics causes droughts and hunger, not nature, and certainly not God!
Liberal priorities!
So stupid and its b******t, to hell with that minnow
Dumb asses
Former farmland being sold to foreign interests for pennies on the dollar
The California leadership has to bee the most evil in the nation. I say evil because people can’t be that damn stupid.
California is their own worst enemy–and too stupid to change it
What do you expect from Moon beam Brown. California is one screwed up state and it is such a shame a beautiful state is wasted on a bunch of leberal idiots.
For 305 minnows? I never have seen a live T-Rex before and it hasn’t hurt my feelings one dang bit!!!!!!
This is why my yard is yellow instead of green !! I use less water and now have a higher water bill to make up the difference . It’s hell if you do and it’s hell if you don’t. A no-win situation .
