The California legislature passed a resolution last week demanding the President apologize for violating their code of ethics. In other words, for not being a Deep State operative. Below is the letter written in response to the idiocracy spewing out of the California state government. Because, seriously, they had nothing better to do with their time all summer then demand an apology from President Trump for being their president?!
CA State Senate and Assembly
September 19th, 2017
Dear “Leaders of the Resistance”
On the unsolicited behalf of the President, I am writing to respond to the recent passing of your resolution that “requires” the President to formally apologize for living in the White House and beating Hillary Clinton.
Despite the firm assurance that taxpayers are actually paying you to see to the needs of your districts, I must commend your ability to focus on what really matters to the Democratic Party.
Your signature accomplishment this session that I am referencing in this letter, the large string of bills and resolutions passed by your Democratic-controlled legislature, is as mind-blowing as Maxine Waters signature weave (that she did NOT steal from James Brown).
Everybody can hate their president. But, it takes real “leaders of the resistance” such as yourself to “symbolically” stand-up to the President and demand the President say sorry for hurting your feelings.
Continue to the next page to learn everything you need to know about this “symbolic” ORDER by the CA legislature demanding President Trump apologize on the next page.
They censured him for saying nice things about white nationalists, not a demand for an apology for winning
ugh they are the ones that need to apologize
I read the censure
Tim McIntire the article is inaccurate. It’s perfectly fine to be upset with the cali legislature because you don’t agree with their take, but a lot of folks won’t get so far as to read it all
Demand this…..
I’m old and retired, which means that I have the time to do just that. I even watch the full interviews of figures in the news and not just the clips that the nightly news uses. What Trump said was that “there are probably good people on both sides” in his first interview after the trouble. I happen to believe that there are probably good people who are part of Antifa, that doesn’t mean that I agree with there tactics or beliefs. I think that Gondi would likely be spinning in his grave over what they call protests.
I think that criminal behavior deserves to be pointed out no matter what side is doing it. I also believe in free speech, even if it is being done by people I disagree with…Kneeling at football games, civil protests, and yes even white supremacist are protected by free speech. Attacking people for attending a speech, doing damage to business that didn’t do anything, or violent protesting are criminal acts. I don’t care who is doing them.
I was born in Cal and lived there all the way through college and the 60’s. Saw protests, knew people in the SDS and black Panthers; some believed in what they were doing and some were idiots in it for themselves. Still have strong feelings about the state and not just because I have a lot of family still living there. Last time I visited I was appalled by the state of highways, high prices on goods and services, taxes on gas no a lot more! Considering the state of debt the state is in I’m worried about the time waisted on things like this and how long till the state implodes over its rising debt. That’s why I have stopped laughing…just sayin’ what I feel. I do respect your right to disagree too…
Tim McIntire fair enough, and I have serious disagreements with how the left is conducting a lot of its protests. I’m not an extremist by any means, but I have a hard time seeing the good in a side standing shoulder to shoulder with folks with swastikas on their arms.
Me too
The only apology he should give is to the rest of the nation for Cali. being a bunch of dumbasses!!!
Yep ceo of chrysler. Now The$#%&!@*hole who got it wants to sell it off.
