In the wake of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001, the Obama administration, Democrats in Congress, and Hillary Clinton have all decided that it is finally time to get tough. Just not tough on terrorism. Instead of addressing the problem of radical Islamic jihad being waged here in the United States and around the globe, the left has resorted to their old tactic of attacking the Second Amendment.
In the weeks following Omar Mateen’s deadly rampage that left 49 dead at an Orlando nightclub, the administration has done everything in its power to shift the focus away from terror, and onto the tool he used to carry out his massacre. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson used the attack to announce that gun control would thus forward be considered DHS issue.
It turns out, however, that — in the eyes of some — even the Obama administration is not moving quickly enough to restrict gun owners’ rights.
To read about California Governor Jerry Brown’s SIX strict new gun control bills, what they mean for Californians — and what they could mean for all Americans — continue on the next page:
Brown is senile.
Because no one else wants the job.
The same people who swore to uphold the constitution don’t
How can anyone, in their right mind, live in this state. Not me.
Do not comply!
You may have forgotten but the city of Los Angeles banned AR15s back in the mid 80’s and nobody complied. Not a single door was kicked in. Shortly after, the ban was removed because of a win by the NRA where the ruling was basically that you could not ban something that people had already purchased legally. You could only ban the continued sales of the item. That ruling has already set precedents for these new law passages which will probably get shot down just like that one did back in the mid-80s.
In 2014 Connecticut past similar laws yet 340,000 known “assault weapons” owners refused to comply. Not a single door has been kicked in since. One cop openly proclaimed “I’d give my right nut to kick in your door and take your guns” at a town hall meeting. His precinct got so many death threats that the chief publicly fired him and said “no one is kicking in any doors” because they were shitting themselves knowing that they are not only outgunned, but could be facing a silver war that law-enforcement has no way of fighting against . That was in their words, not mine or anybody else’s.
Shortly after Connecticut’s ban, New York passed the same type of law but 2 million known “assault weapons” owners refused to comply. In fact several showed up on the steps of the capitol in Albany with paper shredders and shredded the documents demanding that they register their arms. Not a single door has been kicked in since, for the same reasons why no doors have been kicked-in in Connecticut, NY no doors were ever kicked-in in California in the mid 80s.
There are only two times in the United States where guns were openly confiscated. The first time sparked the American Revolutionary war. That incident didn’t work out too well for the British. The second time was during Hurricane Katrina when the National Guard went to one suburban neighborhood and confiscated guns from people who weren’t expecting it. It was more of a drill than it was anything productive as far as confiscating guns because most people got their guns back within a few months.
America is not Britain and we are not Australia. We’ve learned by history and have the advantage of anticipating what may be coming. California is already broke and has more people receiving benefits than who are putting into the system. They simply do not have the funds, the manpower, or the means to go door-to-door in a state that has 32 million people residing in it. If something happens here where a firefight breaks out, you can expect to see what we saw at Bundy ranch times a million. It could literally strike the largest Civil War the planet has ever seen which would literally collapse the infrastructure and bankrupt the United States because the cost involved in something like that is tremendous while we’re already borrowing $.44 of every dollar just to survive and are currently $19 trillion in debt heading towards $21 trillion after the last budget passage. They simply do not have the manpower, the military power, or the funds to take on 80 – 100 million people nationwide anymore than we’ve been able to get rid of less than 50,000 Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS members over in the middle east over the span of the past 25 or so years with the worlds best equipped military in an area roughly the same square mileage as California.
Just do not comply! Make them come to us! Molon Labe!
Why do California keeps voting this idiot in. They must be very stupid.
Leave it to this ignoramus. He and his dad were two of the worst things that have ever happened to California. And it’s Moonbeam’s second time around for God’s sakes.
