California Appoints Illegal Alien to Public Office

The importation of illegals into the U.S. is a top priority of the left. If they cannot convince enough existing citizens that the left’s cause is worth supporting, then the solution is to go outside the U.S. and import those who will. So the border wall is hated. Deportation of illegals, even convicted felons is hated. And so it goes.

For anyone doubting the direction of this effort and the seriousness of the situation, just read this.

California has its first illegal alien in state office, after Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) appointed Lizbeth Mateo to the California Student Opportunity and Access Program Project Grant Advisory Committee.

Mateo, an attorney, was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. illegally at the age of 14 with her parents, who are also illegal aliens, according to the Sacramento Bee.

There you go. California now has an illegal alien in public office, getting a salary from public funds. The law be damned.

“While undocumented students have become more visible in our state, they remain underrepresented in places where decisions that affect them are being made,” Mateo said, as quoted by Fox News.

De León, who is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), described Mateo as: “a courageous, determined and intelligent young woman who at great personal risk has dedicated herself to fight for those seeking their rightful place in this country,” according to Fox News.

“Undocumented students,” “illegal aliens” — these are not people who are breaking the law, but are to be treated as just one more minority group in need of special benefits from the state. At least that’s what the left believes.

When you combine powerful liberal political forces with a leftist judiciary, you can easily see that the law is not a standard to be rightly interpreted and applied, but putty to be molded into whatever form suits the left.

Their problem is that if such corruption of the legal system is allowed to persist, anarchy is the result. Not only that, if corrupt liberals can make a mess of our laws, so can extremists with different political viewpoints. So the left might get hoisted by its own baton as well all suffer.

Once again, we cannot allow this sort of thing to continue.
