Vote recounts and conspiracy theories about Russian hacking are one thing, but the most ludicrous scheme devised by liberals in response to their loss has got to be the “Calexit” campaign. Taking their whining to a whole new level, some progressives have endeavoured to sever California from the union to punish the rest of us for electing Donald Trump as president.
The idea is absurd on the face of it and almost certainly doomed to failure, but the people advocating it are loud enough to raise concern that it may get more traction than one might foresee. We can only hope it remains a quixotic crusade and nothing serious comes of it.

don’t know if worth the time, but your the idiot living in la-la land totally ignorant…the South had a government with a Constitution in process of being ratified by each state when northern states declared war, mainly timed to disrupt ratification, which was required to complete the US Constitution secession, I kind of agree about liberalism, otherwise….
The Constitution of Confederacy eliminated slavery, way before US Constitution.
But I thought liberals think Russia is the enemy. Ask Hillary.
Griner Waters thanks for your insults; you must be a card-carrying libertarian? The South was struggling will all kinds of major issues (like tariffs, money, the postal system, infighting among the southern states, the lack of a Supreme Court, etc.) A great read is the book by William Davis titled “A Nation of Our Own” that identifies the problems for the South to establish “A Nation of our Own”.
Gerald Maynes you say a lot of things, tell anyone disagreeing to read some history….you should read some history, you’re a wind bag of falsehoods, very little truth to anything you have written.
