Islam, Christianity and Judaism, according to a CAIR executive, all worship the same god and these religions are one. Nihad Awad, CAIR’s national executive director wrote an essay entitled “Our Religion Is One – Muslims And Christians Worship The Same God”, where he makes this very argument.
“‘Allah’ is merely the Arabic translation for ‘God,’” Awad observes, and “all Arabic-speaking Christians refer to ‘Allah’ in their prayers.”
“Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: ‘Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary,’” the CAIR executive adds. “The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.”
By making the case that world’s three main faiths are one, it creates the argument that those who come out against this doctrine are extremist. If CAIR can make the uneducated believe that it is the Jew and the Christian that are extreme, then it wins in the public discussion of ideas.
Allah is not the God of the Torah or the Christian Bible. Allah is the god of the Quran, written by Mohammad. According to Christian faith, Jesus is God, therefore Jesus is Allah, if one follows Awad’s argument. But Muslims do not see Jesus as God, but rather a prophet. Mohammad himself denied that Jesus was the Son of God. He said in the Quran, Sura 2:116, “They say: “God has begotten a son”. Glory be to Him. No, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: everything renders worship to Him.” and, Sura 9:30, “The Christians say the Messiah is the Son of God, that is a saying from their mouths.”
Christianity, which has its roots in Judaism, as Jesus was a Jew, teaches that Jesus said He was the promised Messiah and that He is God’s Son and He is God. Muslims must reject this as it is contrary to their own book and therefore they cannot really believe that their god, Allah, is one and the same, as the God found in the Old and New Testament.
If however CAIR can peddle this mindset to the Biblically illiterate American public, then they can take the focus off the barbaric crimes occurring in the name of Islam both here and abroad and call those who don’t embrace Allah as the same god for Christians and Jews, as extremists. Awad lumps Trump, Carson and ISIS in the same basket of extremism.
Awad ends his essay by quoting a few Quran verses and suggesting that the unholy trio of ISIS, Donald Trump and Ben Carson exhibit similar “forms of religious and political extremism.”
“The purveyors of different forms of extremism feed off each other to reinforce their own bigotry and to gain unthinking and uncritical support,” Awad warns concerning ISIS, Carson and Trump.
Awad is pandering to the tolerant left and sadly his irrational arguments will sound reasonable. Yet Trump is not beheading people and Carson is not raping in the name of Islam as we are witnessing in Europe, while ISIS continues to decimate and destroy all who won’t convert to what they claim as pure Islam. Awad himself would be killed by ISIS for making the claim that Allah is the god of Christian, Jews and Muslims.
Don’t be duped by this man, as CAIR has ties to the very radical ideology he is claiming are “forms of religious and political extremism.”
CAIR is most notable, of course, because the organizations was listed by the U.S. government as an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme that provided funding to the terror group Hamas.
