CA Dem Party Sues Conservative Students over Gas Tax Recall

The California Democratic Party is no longer able to distinguish itself from a violent Marxist organization.

On June 29th California Democrats filed a lawsuit against three conservative college students from Cal State Fullerton for their support of the Josh Newman recall effort.

The lawsuit’s intent is to stop the petition from going around and to stop the recall process, because the Democrats say it’s been deceptive.

Amanda McGuire, Ryan Hoskins, and Brooke Paz are the three CSUF College Republican members named as defendants in the lawsuit.

These 3 students volunteered on their weekends to meet with constituents and discuss how Newman’s vote in regards to the car and gas tax would cost them money.

That is innocent. What about that merits the CA Democrat Party keeping tabs and monitoring their actions till so infuriated by the impact they were having in their community, they filed a lawsuit? There is more going on than meets first glance. Josh Newman (D) is the man who placed the winning vote on Governor Jerry Brown’s $52 billion transportation package which hikes the cost of gas up 12 cents!

All you have to do to start a recall petition in CA is the signatures of 10 registered voters and a 200-word statement giving the reason for the requested recall.

Republican GOP officials stated last week they’ve already collected 85,00 raw signatures demanding the recall of Newman. Only 63,595 more signatures are needed to forcibly recall the election and Newman.

If Newman can be replaced by a Republican, that ends the Democrats’ 27-member, two-thirds majority in the state Senate and gives GOP legislators bargaining power they now lack, said Steve Stambough, a political science professor at Cal State Fullerton.

“It’s about the supermajority,” he said. “But not only that, it’s a chance for Republicans to reclaim a district they thought they weren’t going to lose.”

The CA Democrat Party is not just monitoring and attacking private citizens for volunteering, they’re waging a war to maintain their liberal stronghold.

Chapter Vice President Amanda McGuire told the Voice of OC:

“The lawsuit is a shameful and frantic attempt to silence voters of the district. The intimidation tactics espoused by the California Democrats should no longer be tolerated. It’s gone too far when college students are being dragged into court for becoming involved with the issues faced by their local cities. I’m proud to be part of the party that fights to fix our government on every level.”

Chapter Secretary Ryan Hoskins said:

“This lawsuit is the definition of frivolous and more than an obstruction of the very processes that every Californian should hold dear. By naming myself and my fellow club members as defendants on this lawsuit the California Democrats are attempting to scare us into backing down from this signature gathering effort. They will not succeed in breaking our spirit and, with the support of the California Republican Party, we will fight it in the court of law.”

One has to wonder though why did the CA Democrat Party target these 3 young students? Many people are working on the recall. How many of them are being monitored by the CA Democrat Party?
