Black Lawyer: Black Jurors Should Acquit Any Black Person Accused of Killing a White Person

We can look back to many of the remarks of civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King, Jr., and many others who were nameless advocates for racial harmony and extending all the privileges of American society and culture to members of the African-American community.  While the unrest of the 1960s was nothing to be proud of, calls for reconciliation within American society were welcome moments in an otherwise troubled decade.

Mr. Obama turned the clock back on race relations 60 years.  It is to his shame that he allowed, and in many cases, has encouraged the heightening of racial tensions in a despicable effort to promote a leftist racist agenda.

He used the power of his office to spawn groups like Black Lives Matter whose goals are to terrorize neighborhoods and destroy trust and harmony between races.

In so doing, Obama plays on the frustrations of those in the black community in order to build organizations to serve as power bases for the leftist cause.  Actually working to improve the lives of those in the African-American community is not part of Mr. Obama’s agenda.  This represents a terrible betrayal of his own people.

Here is one appalling example of what has happened on Mr. Obama’s watch.

Elie Mystal, an editor and contributor to the law blog Above The Law, posted a December 7 article urging all black Americans who end up on juries to engage in “jury nullification” by automatically voting to acquit all blacks accused of crimes, especially that of murder, against white victims and to do so no matter how much evidence is brought to bear against the suspect.

Mystal justified this lawlessness by claiming that “African-Americans live in a world where the police can murder us and get away with it.”

“There is no justice for black people. And yet violently revolting against the system will get us nowhere,” he added.

This is just blatant perversion of justice.  Even a grade-school kid learned the saying that “two wrongs don’t make a right.”  Apparently, it’s not a lesson that Mr. Mystal learned.  Or the man is so angry that he cannot think straight.  Can he really be implying that one race should be able to commit crimes at will without fear of punishment?  It does sound like it.

The legal analyst and lawyer went on to insist that black jurors should refuse to vote to convict any black suspect no matter the crime, including murder, if it is committed against a white person, especially a white man.

Seeming to realize that voting to free obviously guilty murderers based on the race of the victim is a horrendous concept, Mystal insisted that it is the only way to “fix” the system.

No, Mr. Mystal, with all your alleged knowledge and legal credentials, you either do not understand or you refuse to acknowledge the concept of equal protection under the laws. Or what justice is, for that matter.

These were concepts well-understood by the honorable advocates for equal rights of a previous generation.  Concepts that at least one such advocate died for.  You and Mr. Obama are the beneficiaries of those sacrifices, yet you both pervert that dream — to your own disgrace.
