There is an unwritten rule in American politics that minorities must be liberals. In other words, supporters of Democratic politicians. If you look at the voting numbers, you can understand why. The minority vote can make the difference in victory or defeat for a Democratic candidate. Hence, Democrats aggressively prosecute those who break that unwritten rule.
This is a racist attitude. Especially when considering the rest of the unwritten rule — that being that minorities need the help of big government to succeed. Since Democrats are the most eager to increase benefit programs… Well, you get the picture. All the pieces fit very nicely for the liberals just so long as they can prevent the wrong people from challenging them.
