Despite being one of the highest-profile names nominated to Donald Trump’s cabinet, Dr. Ben Carson has kept a relatively low-profile presence since he took charge of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. But that doesn’t mean he’s been twiddling his thumbs behind-the-scenes.
Shortly after taking on his new role, Dr. Carson discovered massive financial fraud that was bleeding his new department of funds. Of course, his low-profile and relative success on the job hasn’t relieved him of public scrutiny. Just last month, Rep. Maxine Waters threatened Carson, saying, “I’m going to take his a** apart” during a public event.
Despite Waters’ threats, Carson seems to be continuing his quiet success as HUD secretary. This week, it was revealed that Carson will end Obama-era policies that wasted taxpayer money and limited efficient access to Section 8 housing.

Watch out for the hammar
Good for Ben
Eric L Runion, Obama left office doubling the national debt…its over 20 trillion, MORON.
Isn’t efficient access, no access? Saves money, correct?
every major conflict we have been in since WW1 has been started during a democrat majority in congress. Suck it up snowflake. You cant even lie worth a$#%&!@*
Does idoacy run in your family, or is it something you acquired on your own. World War I had been going on for two years when the U.S. got into it because of the sinking of the Lusitania by German u-boats, so we were pretty much dragged into the conflict. Would a Republican Congress have ignored that provocation. World War II actually started in 1939 and the GOP was adamant about the U.S. not getting entangled in foreign conflicts. despite the fact that a Europe under the complete control of the Nazi’s would definitely be to our detriment. Of course our involvement came when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor but I guess the GOP would have ignored that little provocation. And were you aware that we didn’t declare war on Germany? They actually declared war on us first, so the GOP really didn’t have much say in that. Now Korea came about becasue we had a mutual support treaty with the South in the event of aggression by the Communists in the North. Considering how vehemently anti-Communist the GOP claimed to be at that time (Joe McCarthy comes to mind) I guess the GOP fought tooth and nail not to get involved. VIetnam was actually another one of those that actually started well before out major commitment to troops on the ground. Eisenhower (a Republican) sent in American advisors after the French were run out of Vietnam and the escalation continued from there. Then of course there was our current involvement that was triggered by the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq, which if allowed to stand would have given Hussein control over a massive fraction of the oil supply allowing him to disrupt the world economy at will, but I guess the GOP was good with that. THen there was our second invasion of the area to take out WMD’s that weren’t, initiate by a GOP run government that manipulated the intel to support their objectives. Oh yeah, everything was all the Dems fault.
Bob Zahn seriously dudette . you have real criminals for heroes.
Tristan Chris Heiss I think you might be mixed up, I am a Democrat Liberal
War bill still coming in from bush administration but never mind your a republican idiot
Eric L Runion, you refuse to step away from your b******t… call me that to my face$#%&!@*.. FUCKING BROWN SHIRT
Love Ben
The Democrat Party is the world’s most successful hate group. It attracts poor people who hate rich people, black people who hate white people, gay people who hate straight people, feminists who hate men, environmentalists who hate the internal combustion engine, and a lot of bratty college kids who hate their parents. However, the real secret of the party’s success is that it attracts the support of journalists who hate Republicans, and who therefore work tirelessly to convince the rest of us that we should vote for Democrats…
No matter who the Republicans nominate for president, the Organized Forces of Liberal Journalism will paint him as a greedy, cold-hearted, woman-hating racist. If the GOP nominated a Buddhist monk or a Latina lesbian, still the New York Times and NBC News would find a way to convince themselves that the Republican candidate represented everything liberals hate about America — the military, the police, Christianity, capitalism, the internal combustion engine and heterosexual white men who work for a living
AMEN and Hallelujah. So well said.
