Americans have known for quite some time that a day is quickly approaching, when they’ll be made to pay for the government’s bad spending habits. According to Glen Beck, a political commentator (for those of you who don’t already know that), that time is closer than you think. And though America is foreseen to face the brunt of this economic beating, the rest of the world is poised to feel it, as well.

Ironic how the majority of people with strong beliefs and think that they are properly informed and everyone else are misinformed know very little about the history or origins of what they blindly believe. Believing and regurgitating what others tell you without factual knowledge is called indoctrination, not being informed. For example, where did the symbolism of the cross come from? It was around a long time before Jesus was born or crucified. What is really being celebrated on dec 25th? It’s not the birth of Jesus. What is the symbolic meaning of the three wise men traveling to see Jesus’s birth? They were magi. Which were persian priests. Pagan priests in view of Christianity. Why are many catholic and Christian holidays situated on same days or timeframe as ancient pagan holidays since roman times. Like Easter, that is not only celebrated because of Jesus but because from sumarian and babylon deity Ishtar. Why when Enoch was supposed to be very wise, and was taken by god to walk with him, were his writings omitted from the bible when he was clearly favored by god? If you don’t understand or know any of these things and more, than sadly you are misinformed and should stop listening to others and educate yourself before blindly believe what others tell you. If history teaches us anything it is that ignorance is perpetuated that way and that is the easiest way to be deceived. Absolutely nothing wrong with having strong beliefs, but first sift through the garbage, use your own mind, and understand what and where those beliefs come from.
I agree with your premise Scott. Most properly educated Christians know that December 25th was a pagan tree ceremony , and that’s also where the Christmas tree tradition began. However, it was a practice of the church to build Churches in or on formerly pagan sites or lands. Missionary’s usually being the beginning of that process. Surely , it can be viewed as political , and continues to this day. I don’t believe those practices are sinister , nor do I believe the church tried to cover up what they were doing. As far as the three wise men, The Holy Bible says they were visited by an Angel of The Lord and given the news of the significance of the event. Also, you would be dismissing The Will of Our Lord in said events if you just chalked up everything to conspiracy or the like. I agree with educating ourselves about the passed, how else can we move forward with our steps on solid ground.
He’s a legend in his own mind. Paid by the word…
Radioactive hell here we come!
All that really matters no matter what your denomination is, is that you accept Christ as your savior and that he died for your sins. And try everyday to live the life he intended for you. Which is to love your neighbor as you love yourself and love God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul. And if we all did that this world would be great!
I am pretty knowledgeable of the bible and everything the bible has to say regarding the last days, and somehow missed this Damascus, Syria prophesy? Where is this scripture located? I myself believe that the Babylon of the last days, described in a couple of different books of the OT, and also spoken of in Revelations, that will be destroyed in an hour, is America. I know that it’s not a popular theory and many disagree because it is unpleasant to consider, but sadly, I believe that God called the United States, Babylon. And according to scripture, he isn’t very pleased with the Babylon of the last days.
Looked at some of these prior comments and I think that the place described in Daniel, is America. Does the bible say Damascus, Syria? If not, what makes you believe it to be Syria? I may look over it tonight if nobody can give me the location, to see what you meant by this. It may be a different chapter in Daniel but there is some references to what I feel is describing America in Daniel and also there are some verses that seem to be describing Obama himself. Very eerie!
Sadly, about every week we do have a crisis or two, somewhere on this planet! . Crisis’s aren’t rare these days! But nothing we can do about it whether it’s true or not. Phone story was too small for me to read, so not sure what was even predicted, but I never knew that Beck was a fortune teller anyway? Lol!
It is possible for anything to happen at anytime, and has always been and will always be that way. We all know that the future isn’t looking very bright, but sadly we can’t do anything about it.
Lol John Juarez, that Ebola scare did have me a bit paranoid! I had already left my job at the hospital, and when we brought that first case of Ebola to America, I was begging everybody I knew that worked at the hospital to quit their job! That was a strange event! Talked on the news like it was at plaque level, spreading like wild fire and killing off millions! I was upset that we were so stupid to bring infected patients into this country, sure that a pandemic would be the result! Then I was so upset that we were sending troops from America to help with the crisis, and assumed that they would all die! Couple of weeks later, the media didn’t mention Ebola anymore and we haven’t been given any updates on the troops or anything else regarding the Ebola situation? Very weird and now not even sure this story was true? Did it just vanish? Are our solider’s still there? The whole story went away? Makes me wonder if it was just an experiment to see how the world would react to such a situation? Is it just me that found that whole situation bizarre?
