British police have been playing nanny again, punishing people for saying things they don’t approve of, even locking them up and treating them like violent criminals as it were. This time, Thames Valley beauty salon owner April Major has been taken into custody by law enforcement due to inflammatory remarks she made regarding Muslims over Facebook. Not acts, mind you, remarks.
Reacting to the attacks in Paris, Major wrote on the social media site that Muslims were no longer welcome at her business, allegedly stating, “Time to put my country first.” It is even claimed that she said “I hope your families get blown up by ISIS,” over the site. As ill-considered as her comments are, Major did not commit violence against anyone or anything, and yet the Thames Valley police felt the “threat” she posed was credible enough to take her in. Citing the Public Order Act as permission to take action against those publicly display “abusive” material, officers promptly apprehended her.
Keep reading to see some of the reactions to Major’s arrest:

Discrimination:
Public schools brainwash people into believing that “discrimination” means bias, bigotry and prejudice when really it just means “to differentiate”. Everyone discriminates against others. Everyone. No exceptions. I don’t have a problem with discrimination. In fact, I love discrimination. To not discriminate is to not have standards. You discriminate every time you put your own preferences ahead of the preferences of others. You discriminate every time you enter into a monogamous romantic relationship. You discriminate literally every time you make a decision about anything. It’s the initiation of force that’s bad; not discrimination.
A ban on discrimination amounts to little more than 1984-esque enforcement of “thought crime” by totalitarian thought police.
Furthermore, to ban discrimination is to abolish freedom of choice and freedom of association because it can’t be claimed that one is free to choose or associate if they aren’t also free to not choose or not associate.
That’s why I support the right of everyone to discriminate against anyone or anything for any reason regardless of whether or not I agree with their decision or reason for doing so. Initiating force against people to make them do what you want is MORALLY WRONG, and as such, forcing people to purchase or provide certain goods and services at gunpoint is morally wrong. We all understand this when it comes to sex. Very few people will attempt to argue the point that violating someone’s consent by raping them is sometimes moral, and those who do are complete sociopaths.
So why not apply that same understanding regarding CONSENT to everything else? If bodily integrity and the non-aggression principle are valid concepts (and they are), where between rape, taxes and forced association does that break down in the minds of statists?
If yours is the only consent that matters to you, you aren’t being consistent.
If you only get upset about discrimination when other people do it, you aren’t being consistent.
Inconsistencies in your reasoning are usually a pretty good indication that your premise is faulty.
Enjoy your day though! Make the most of it!
