Afraid of guns and now God Bless America, Gersh Kuntzman from the New York Daily Newsonce again bloviates his athei-leftist and vacuous opinions in a new column at the Daily News, but this time regarding baseball and the 7th-inning-stretch.
After making a foolish name for himself by describing his panic-stricken experience of firing AR-15, Kuntzman once again opens himself up for perfectly aimed ridicule when he states that God Bless America, the song sung during the 7th-inning-stretch at America’s past time, should be benched.
“It must be permanently retired as it offends everyone,” according to Kuntzman. Perhaps Gersh just hates baseball or America or God or all of the above, as his statistics supporting the idea that the song “offends everyone” is invalidated when a stadium full of fans still sing it in an uproarious fashion when played.
Kuntzman claims he was okay with the anthem right after 9/11, “singing a paean to our country provided catharsis, comfort and shared heartache”, but has since decided to hate it and the message it brings.

If you don’t stop this b******* you might as well just give our country to the damn isis
Ignore this$#%&!@*n the rag he writes for….. Don’t give him time, that’s what they want
WRONG.
Can’t happen. We’ll always have GOD BLESS AMERICA in our hearts.
Liberal bs as always from democratic idiots.
Stop going to ballgames! That’s the only important thing is a cut in their money! If Americans do not stand up for THEIR rights, who will?
ALL BASEBALL PLAYERS SHOULD NOT STEP ONTO THE FIELD UNTIL THEY HEAR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM……THE WAY IT WAS WHEN BASEBALL FIRST BEGAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately a lot of folks are.
Well sports fans are you ready to take one for ‘TEAM AMERICA ‘ and inform the owners of your favorite sports teams that you will boycott the games unless they guarantee that the national anthem will be played before EVERY game ?
This isn’t just for Baseball fans to do, this is for every sports fan to do ! Let’s talk their language so they hear us loud and clear.
Contact your favorite sports team and explain to them that you refuse to purchase tickets to any games that aren’t preceded by the playing of our national anthem.
If you’re so lucky as to have season tickets you need to do the same, with the additional reminder that next year you may choose to spend that money on something else unless they guarantee that the national anthem will remain a part of the game.
Remind them of the people who’s livelihood depends on them filling the stadium . Vendors have to eat too !
Be sure to mention television revenues several times if possible.
Let the team owners know that you’re looking forward to a statement from them and their leagues stating that they are not going to even consider such a ridiculous anti American request.
Absolutely. My thoughts exactly. Just start singing and most patriots will join in. What are they gonna do? Throw everyone out? We need to take back our country and traditions. By force if necessary.
