Residents in Jacksonville, Florida might soon get fined for backing their car up in their own driveway. Talk about micromanagement of citizens!
This ridiculous proposal that is currently pending before city council would make it illegal for residents to park their cars in a manner that doesn’t give the city the ability to read their license plate information.

How stupid can Floridians get! For backing up in our own driveway someone is going to really get it to you just wait & see hope they do not start that fool in SC or it will be real trouble too.

Because Big Brother can’t read the plate from the street. Cities across America have been bullied, already, into making it against the law to park backwards, despite pulling out being way safer for society. (me)
Government overreach. This could be solved with a simple change. Put plates on the front, & back, as they do here Missouri.

Some of us with larger vehicles usually always back in no matter where we go..its easier to get in a parking spot, its safer pulling out and for some of us emergency responders its quicker to get going.
