Residents in Jacksonville, Florida might soon get fined for backing their car up in their own driveway. Talk about micromanagement of citizens!
This ridiculous proposal that is currently pending before city council would make it illegal for residents to park their cars in a manner that doesn’t give the city the ability to read their license plate information.

I got ticket for parking under my tree for lunch. Now a ticket for parking the wrong way. They should be out catching the real crooks.
Everyone should pull in straight and cover their car that should p**s them off.
Since the vehicle is on private property and on a paved or other surface designated for parking a vehicle the Municipality CAN NOT regulate HOW the vehicle is parked as the driveway is NOT public roadway, This same bull c**p has been tried in Wisconsin, thrown out in State Court appealed in US Court and the the Judge then threatened to charge the municipality with 1 count of civil rights violations for every motor vehicle registered in the municipality. He further read the Municipal attorney the riot act for not knowing the difference between property rights and public roadways.
