Army Seminar Warns Soldiers about the Dangers of ‘White Privilege’

At a seminar held in April 2015, 400 soldiers of the 67th Signal Battalion at Fort Gordon we presented information on “white privilege”. The Power Point briefing was obtained by government watchdog group Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act, and it shows just how far into the weeds the politically correct crowd has gone, and how dangerous they are in poisoning the minds of our military and dividing people into opposing groups.

Some of the “equal opportunity briefing presentation included the following:

“Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans.” It alleged that there are unspecified “powerful forces everywhere” keeping different kinds of people from being valued, accepted, and appreciated, but “we act as if it doesn’t exist.” This alleged privilege creates a “yawning divide” in income, wealth, and dignity. The material described a mythical African woman who isn’t aware that she’s black until she comes to America, encounters “white racism” and discovers the U.S. is “organized according to race.”

It was reported by the military that the presentation was “not authorized,” and not part of a standard presentation, according to an Army spokesman. However, the fact that such a presentation was made to a large gathering of soldiers in an effort to undermine the morale and cohesiveness of our military is absolutely outrageous.

The politically correct crowd presents their beliefs and biases as if they are fact, when in reality they are nothing more than an attempt to gain advantages for one group over another. There are sufficient examples of non-white groups succeeding and white groups failing in society that the suggestion of white privilege should be dismissed as nothing more than pandering of the worst sort. In fact, one curious discovery is that white middle age men and women, and now younger white men in the U.S. have a declining life span, a fact that is completely counter to other ethnicities in the U.S. who all show an increase in their life spans. So it turns out that being white in America is not necessarily beneficial or a guarantee of success.

And in another non-official poll, a reporter found broad support from both black and white interviewees for a “white privilege tax” that would redistribute wealth from white members of society to citizens of color solely on the assumption that whites have an unfair advantage in life and so must pay a fee for their purported benefit of being white. It is simply outlandish that people are buying into this nonsense. Maybe there is no fix for stupid, but the problem is that biased and racist academics and panderers come up with these bizarre and unproven theories, and then government and institutions treat them as if they are fact and act upon them. Race relations under the Obama administration have worsened dramatically during his tenure, and this is just one more example of political correctness run amuck.
