This shows what is wrong with the current administration. We have no commander in chief.
This figures
This is why so many good men and women leave the service.
Well, I don’t know about this or have details. The story says that he got in to a physical altercation with an Afghan police commander who is suspected of raping a boy and beating up his mother. We can’t go around doing things to people that are simply suspected of something. I think he was wrong for it, even though I understand it. It’s an emotionally charged situation for sure. However, I do not think he should be relieved from the military. Reprimanded perhaps, but dismissed? No way.
SHAMEFUL!!!
WRONG PERIOD THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN
This is so wrong.
Good for him… He can finally start the rest of his life now… I got out because I got divorced and won custody of my kids and then they tried to send me to Korea forcing me to give up custody… I wouldn’t trust my kids with anyone else for the simple fact that when I got back from Afghanistan with 7th SFG I was sent to pick up a child molester from the rear detachment for trial hearing… And when I got back from Colombia there was a LTC picked up for child pornography… NO I will not abandon my post as a daddy to serve an ungrateful command… All I wanted was time for my family wounds to heal and find a woman I could trust to watch my kids while I was deployed and serving my country again… There are plenty of rear d and instructor positions to fill but they forced me to choose so screw them… And this man made the right stance as well….
