This rat trap anyone can build. You make it once and it catches many rats.

Stick a brick in the bottom of a tall garbage can fill with water to about a 1/2 inch over brick. Catch a live rat in cage put him in can then lay a board up to top of garbage can. That one in the can will squeal and draw other rats to it
Rats have been vermin since the first days of life. They are lazy and look for easy meal tickets
Just get a cat or two
