This rat trap anyone can build. You make it once and it catches many rats.
A bucket, some peanut butter, a pipe and some water. Yup, that’s pretty simple.
One improvement suggested by someone using this trap is to add antifreeze to the water, which instantly kills the rats.
This been around for years, use a soda can or plastic soda bottle gives more room at the top.

I don’t know? I once captured a rat in a cage(back in my vegan days) and thru it off a bridge just to watch it swim…and probably found its way back to the house I was living in,then,too. They are very intelligent! To bad they are so riddled with contagious diseases. But then so are we…starting with our thoughts! Lol!
I have an outbuilding at my job that gets mice in the fall since we store seed there and I’ve done something even more simple a little water in the bottom of a pail and I place it on a 45 degree angle on the one step inside the place and overnight I get two or three mice.
There is also one that you can make from an industrial 55 gallon drum for larger rats.

People you can’t trap a rat and turn it back to the woods some where. mice and rats over populate extremely quick. We can’t get over run with rats and mice . That’s just plain ignorant.

I don’t think that Anti-freeze kills instantly at all. Plus, why must we kill everything? Is it animals faults that Man has paved over and built on every square foot of land that once was the habitat of wild animals ????
