11:00EST Sunday Morning the Truckers Ride For The Constitution and the Million Vet March removed barricades to gain access to memorials closed during the government shutdown. Peaceful protests formed in front of the White House and hundreds of people passed barricades to stand on the front steps of the Lincoln Memorial as well.

If the government ends up defaulting on it’s debts, I just hope Republicans can keep smiling if that happens.
