When big government and big business put aside their differences to spy on citizens, what recourse does the average American have?
While we tend to think that the state and corporations are always at odds with each other, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the two are responsible for sustaining each other, with legislators awarding exclusive contracts and bailouts to well-connected interests and lobbyists pouring sizeable amounts of cash into politicians’ campaign war chests come election time. Whereas small businesses are forced to contend with reams of rules and regulations and stand on their own when they go under, big companies are protected by the feds when they commit all but the most serious transgressions.
The loser, as you might have guessed, is the little guy, who finds himself caught between two powerful forces working in concert to infringe upon his God-given rights.

Although this article has merit in some people’s eyes – these concepts are rapidly becoming archaic. Too many many people are hanging onto the old concept of privacy when it has not really existed for a couple of decades.
I build computers from scrath for a hobby. Having just finishex building a “Server” as my last build – I can assure you that personal privacy is a concept of past days. My next door neighbor is completing his masters degree in IT Security. He assures me that privacy is history unless you are completely off the grid and then “They” would come looking for you ;o). We have to just get used to this new way of living.
Let it go – it is inevitable. We are just wasting energy fighting it.
