Public schools are perpetually whining about lack of funding, and yet the food nazis have made it impossible to hold school fundraisers such as cupcake sales or similar events for fear that school children will be “corrupted” by the evils of sweets and soda. And perhaps caution is appropriate so that a funding source does not unduly influence what happens in a schoolroom and even worse, to school curriculum.
Which is why schools in Austin, Texas should roundly and vociferously reject new funding offered by the Qatar Foundation International. The potential for abuse and indoctrination is too great, and the possibility that curriculum will be adjusted in order to continue to receive the funds too worrisome to accept the purported largesse of the foundation.
Who is the Qatar Foundation and what is their objective, page 2:
Need to impeach school board and fire the Superintendent
This is b******t. Why? I’m gonna tell ya right now! Besides the fact that what they’re gonna teach in no way is going to reflect the true teachings of Islam for fear of being driven out of the community…possibly on fire…
The Chinese have Chinese school, The Poles have Polish school, the Latinos have Latin culture and language, Catholics have Bible school…all after school or otherwise on their own time as is their cultural right.
The rest of the time they are just plain ole Americans. There’s nothing so special about Islam or Muslims that “needs” to be taught in schools. They must figure if they “teach” us their culture they will somehow justify themselves and their anti-social behaviors.
Well. Know what guys? We ain’t buying into your b******t. Keep it in your homes where it belongs but leave it at the door when you step outside.
We know what they will teach.EVIL
I would say no!
Not my kids.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
