Multiple reports confirm the presence of a major gas leak in the west coast metropolis. According to these reports, formaldehyde is being emitted from the leak as methane changes into the deadly substance as it combines with sunlight. Formaldehyde is the chemical substance used by morticians in embalming fluid.
There are claims that the leak, which is putting thousands at risk of their bodies “digesting [them]sel[ves]” due to exposure to the substance, will be fixed soon.
