A tragedy is never wasted in the eyes of democrats, and while yesterday’s violence at a New York festival certainly was tragic, Governor Andrew Cuomo used the shooting of one of his aides to vocalize his already loud opinions on gun control. The chaos started yesterday around 2 a.m. preceding the West Indian Day Parade. In the midst of it all, Carey Gabay, aide to Governor Andrew Cuomo was shot in the head and is reported to be in critical condition.
