A rocket mass heater is a clean burning, high performance burner usually put together using a majority of recycled and/or natural materials, such as cob. Owners claim an 80-90% reduction in wood usage compared to heating the same space with a metal wood stove.
Rocket stoves are a type of fuel-efficient device, named in the 70’s, but dating back millenia in concept. A super-hot chimney above the fire draws the flames sideways and up, blending hot fuel and air into a quick, hot, clean-burning fire that takes little wood, leaves little residue, and has lots of uses.

You can burn wood if you own some land with trees on it! You can buy wood to burn!
This is a good and better way to fight climate change sons!
Have used one of these in camp for the last 30 some odd years. Just a 30 gallon oil drum turned on its side, a feed door placed on the end that has the snap down, legs and stove pipe for exhaust . Works great …. There are kits that help with the conversion —- very inexpensive.
Bob Kline this is not a drum kit door and leg set like you are referencing. Watch the video link after clicking on the site.
