You could put a turbine in your shower drain too. Just not too far down or hair can’t be retrieved if a clog occurs. But the turbine before water exits pipes in the shower or sink is just taking energy away from you not creating it. You use electricity to create water pressure, and with laws of physics in mind, the only useful turbine would be in the drains.
