Various private militia groups have patrolled the Southern border for years and detain dozens of migrants every day, but it’s rare to see video footage of the groups in action. A video surfaced this week showing New Mexico militia group The United Constitutional Patriots detaining hundreds of illegal immigrants, taking the already hotly debated issue of illegal immigration to another level.
The United Constitutional Patriots say they plan to continue patrols in Sunland Park, New Mexico until President Trump builds his promised border wall.
“This country was built on three things: God, guns and guts. That American flag has to keep flying,” said United Constitutional Patriots Commander John Horton, “It’s in danger, a lot of danger right now.”
YouTube videos uploaded on Tuesday and Wednesday show many detained migrants sitting on the ground coughing and asking for water while waiting on Border Patrol, alarming many on the Left who are now calling for action against the militia.
