Eisenhower warned us about the military-industrial complex growing too big and powerful – now his warnings have to fruition.
Since 1996 the Department of Defense has run up $8.5 trillion of unaccounted for spending.
When the holes came up in paperwork, DOD just made up numbers on the books, all while no audit has been done.
Gordon Duff, Senior Editor of Veterans Today Newspaper, says the ‘phony war on terror over the last 10+ years has been an opportunity for defense entities to buy Congress’.
Our politicians just keep on stealing from us.

Well that’s no Suprise they have all sorts of Top Secret stuff that money was probably spent on… 6 billion for the StateDepartment is another story… They don’t need top secret anything!
You really need to find a better source for your news.
This all starts from a misunderstood speech by Donald Rumsfeld in 2001:

Back then it was $2.3 trillion. They’re just taking that misunderstood information and carrying it over to today.
The $8.5 trillion is the entire pentagon budget from 1996 to 2012. That’s the entire budget for 16 years, because the baseline budget is about $0.5 billion a year. In 2001 Rumsfeld said that they didn’t account for $2.3 trillion (since 1996)
They did not lose the money. They spent the money. They even accounted for the money. They simply did not account for every single transaction in enough detail to satisfy the requirements for a full audit.

The article could possibly be used to illustrate government incompetence but even then, there’s probably equally as many examples of the private sector being equally incompetent.
What I don’t understand is that your internal BS detector doesn’t immediately go haywire when you see something like this. The entire federal budget last year was $3.9 trillion. Like… all of it. It’s just not feasible that $8.5 trillion would go missing. Not to mention the picture shows it’s from RT news. I’d never heard of that before and a quick google search shows that it’s Russia Today news. Any credible news source wouldn’t do a story like this “live” as RT is claiming they’re doing. They would pre-record it to prevent any mess ups on air.
Well now I feel stupid
And hillary Clinton knew about it yes our government is corrupt the establishment needs to go yes it me sick at my stomach Americans needs to wake up our government has brought every one from those countries and tells them they can have a better life in America this is our country that money could went to the veterans and the working poor people in America yes god help us all god bless America in god we trust not muhammad
