6.Prairie Rattlesnake

The Last deadly snake on our list is a bit different from the rest. While most venomous snakes are known to be nocturnal, the prairie rattlesnake is very active in daylight. You can easily confuse the prairie with a Massasauga rattlesnake. However, its distinction is the scales on its head. The Prairie are known to den in large numbers, and as many as seven hundred have been found in hibernation in a single den! The Prairie rattlesnake is 3-4 feet long and is known to feed on rodents. This snake can be found almost anywhere in the United States, and is probably the most common rattlesnake.
