4. Western Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake

 

You’ll definitely know when you come across the Western Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake when you see one, due to its conspicuous features and when you hear its unmistakable rattle. This snake is larger than your average snake, making it very easy to spot. You should however never get close to this snake at any given time, unless you yearn for its vicious bite. Just like any other rattlesnake, this snake blends exceptionally well with its surrounding, and is commonly spotted during late summer and early fall. The Western Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake is common in Oklahoma.
