Nickolas Taylor, a fifth-grader from Stacy Middle School in Milford, MA, has been suspended for the mere act of pointing his finger ‘like a gun’ and making laser sounds.
“I think this is very slanderous toward Nickolas and his character,” stated Brian Taylor, the boy’s father. “It was non-threatening. He’s just a typical boy with an imagination.”

We have people going to military bases killing our soldiers and he gets kicked out of school pointing his finger, how many kids were injured while he was doing that? Now my question is as stupid as your are for suspending him!!
No common sense from the school? ??
What will they think of next? They do it in the movies you stupid teacher.
Guess we will have to just cut off everyone’s hands so no one can hurt anyone ever again. If you like your hands, you can keep your hands!
Crazy’
Was the finger loaded ???
They are dragging rock bottom.
I knew this kid looked like trouble when I was a kid our fingers used to be loaded with dirt, snots and whatever stuck to them, never had a accidental shooting.
PC PEOPLE POINTING A FINGER LIKE A GUN WHEN I WAS GROWING UP WAS PART OF BEING A KID, WHY DON’T YOU IDIOT’S SPEAK OUT AGAINST A TEACHER SHOWING CHILDREN HOW TO HAVE $#%&!@*. IF MY CHILD CAME HOME AND TOLD ME HIS OR HER TEACHER WAS SHOWING THE GL$#%&!@* HOW TO HAVE $#%&!@*, THE SCHOOL BOARD WOULD NOT LIKE THE OUTCOME.
Totally ridiculous. Must have an idiot principal! This is why people are opting for E-Cot, online schools, and home schooling and with these kind of things more and more parents are going to pull their children out of public schools. Parents who can afford it will place their children in upscale private schools. retired as a school principal after 44 years of service and I never suspended a child for poiting a finger and acting like it was gun! How stupid! I’ve taken toy pistols away from children who brought them to school and I just kept the toy, disposed of it, and that was their punishment! When I was growing up we played cops and robbers and cowboys nd Indians during recess back in the early 50’s and nobody thought a thing of it. Whe I started teaching it wasn’t any big deal for a high school student to pull in the parking lot, have gun rack in the window of their pick-up, and the shotgun they used for hunting in the gun rack. No one said a darn thing and we never had anyone shot or anyone even threaten to shoot anyone. This country is n a really bad way right now and it’s becoming worse dy by day! Really sad! Common sense died some time back.
