6. Deathstalker Scorpion
We all know scorpions are deadly, and while this particular one might not look all that impressive, it’s responsible for about three-fourths of all the deaths that result from scorpions every single year. It’s sting delivers an extraordinarily painful dose of neurotoxin. Envenomation by the deathstalker is considered a medical emergency even with antivenom treatment, as its venom is unusually resistant to treatment and typically requires large doses of antivenom.
So simply staying out of the water won’t keep you entirely safe where these guys are crawling around. Next up is another land-based terror:
You forgot the mosquito
Is that a democrat or Republican. …
These list of most dangerous animals is so frustrating to read. Many of the animals on this list are completely harmless simply by avoiding them. You have to try really hard to die from a puffer fish. Just don’t eat the damn thing. Hippos kill more people every year than probably the hyena and Cape buffalo combined. Most venomous does not equate to most dangerous to humans. Mosquitos should have been number 1, 2, and 3 on this list.
It’s amazing now with digital technology that we can get up close and personal with these animals using virtual reality. Great list.
#1 should have been the mosquito…
