3. Dams
It was reported that 1 out of 6 dams are a “high hazard”, I bet you are rethinking that trip you had planned to visit the local dam with your kids now. Well, it doesn’t get any better because out of 84,000 dams that are in the US, only 14,000 are structurally deficient. It would cost $21 billion to fix these aging dams. Engineers have warned the government to invest $3.3 trillion in project but only half have been met.
What about our roads? Rough roads might not seem like anything new, but the facts we discovered will shock you, find out next!
The US is in deep trouble.
We spent trillions of tax dollars nation building in the middle east and elsewhere around the world . Much of that money was borrowed and now we’re stuck with what we have today . We can thank these lifetime politicians for where we are. We’ve been ripped off by just about anyone willing stick their neck out to do so , most knowing they will never get nailed for it .We all need to wake-up to this abuse and actually do something about it .
So question all those and bills and taxes paid and voted and passed for infrastructure by each state where is the money going. Technically I don’t think that the federal govt is responsible for this but the states are where are the funds going
How much money do we spend on this and where does it go? Is there no questioning of who is wasting the money the cronyism and corruption that no matter how much we spend it will never be enough.
I think that at the state level infrastructure be an independent commission or body that is only responsible for this and they can have taxing authority they are elected or not based on this issue alone.
