10 Iconic Leftist Protests Gone Hellishly Wrong

LEFTIST PROTEST #10:  CHARLOTTESVILLE CONFEDERATE STATUE PROTEST

It began as a simple group of defenders of American history who were there in Charlottesville, Virginia to protest the scheduled removal of the Confederate monument of Robert E. Lee.  It turned into a hellish day of violent altercations between mostly Antifa thugs and those who wished to march in peace to air their own grievances.  Interestingly, as the Rightwing group arrived with its papers in hand for the right to protest the removal of the monument, they were subsequently told by officials that their permit to do so have been revoked.

As they continued to protest anyway, knowing this was a political ploy by the state’s highly partisan governor and Clinton BFF, Terry McAuliffe, many more times their number of Antifa activists began to arrive.  In fact, it was estimated at one point that the Leftwing arrivals (who never applied for a permit, by the way) outnumbered the Rightwing group by more than 60-1.  That’s a huge number.

In the middle of all this, other groups began to arrive as well.  There were White supremacist groups, self-proclaimed Nazi groups and KKK groups, all of which also had no permit.  Meanwhile, police inexplicably remained hands-off on the demonstrations initially, but when violence began to spring up with Antifa thugs grabbing flags and other items of clothing from the first Rightwing group (with the permit) the police stepped in as a buffer between the adversaries.  At one point, the police (in a controversial and questionable move) directed the Rightwing group down a street that was clogged with the Antifa thugs, rather than taking them down an adjacent route that would have avoided this confrontation.  Many postulate that this may have been done on purpose in order for the news services to have more “action” and chances for altercation, as the Leftists in the Virginia government had already written the headlines ahead of time that “Trump supporters and White supremacists, neo-Nazis, and KKK members attacked innocent and peaceful counter-protesters.”

The strategy worked brilliantly for the Left, as the Antifa thugs launched into attacks and the Rightwingers defended themselves.  In the interim, in another location, a young man ended up driving a car into a mass of protesters, unfortunately killing Heather Heyer.

When it comes to dishonesty and getting a point across at the expense of their supporters, no one demonstrates this shameful lack of humanity more than the Party of the Jackass.

Protests have become so frequent in recent years that it’s become an industry unto itself, whose innocent children are being slaughtered by corporate greed and political power, and whose once-great country is being offered up as the sacrificial lamb.
