A simple and inexpensive car security kill switch could give you a layer of protection to prevent car theft.
This instruction will illustrate installation of a kill switch that will not allow the car to be started without the switch being on, which you would placeĀ in a not-so-obvious place in your car. With the switch on thieves have another difficulty to deal with with trying to start your car.
Note that the actual instruction begins at 1:30 in the video.
So no one else will be able to get these. A car thief will get one then this is useless
Msgtdubb says:
“If you have comprehensive coverage it will be covered less deductible. I think a motion sensor inside the car that notifies you when anyone enters the car would be helpful. Nobody pays any attention to a car alarm anymore.”

I fixed my neutral safety switch in such a manner years ago.
I bought a truck with a kill switch in a not so visible spot that I never seen before. I accidentally bumped it one day at the grocery store. It took me like 5 min. to figure out.
